I lead ADC-Wesion, a team of Financial Services Consultants under AIA Singapore. My work is simple to say and hard to do well: grow good consultants, so families are in good hands. I did not set out to win awards. I set out to make sure families do not have to start from zero, and to build the kind of team I would have wanted to join. So that is what I spend my days building. A full-time trainer, because talent deserves real coaching, not a pep talk. WesionEdge and our own tools, so my consultants walk into every meeting with the modelling done and their attention free for the person in front of them. A lead-generation system and real business partnerships, so no one has to build a career alone. Piece by piece, an ecosystem where good people can do their best work. The awards on the wall came from doing that, steadily, for six years. I read them the way I read a good plan: not one heroic year, but the same honest thing, repeated until it compounds. What I care about most is the person. I can teach the craft. What I look for is character, people who care about others, do the right thing when no one is watching, and want to grow the next person the way someone once grew them.
